MIXTURE AND ALIGATION

In order to combine multiple materials in varied quantities to attain a desired average or concentration, Mixture and alligation are concepts used to solve problems related to mixing different ingredients with varying proportions to achieve a desired average or concentration.

Mixture: Problems involving mixtures entail combining two or more substances with various qualities to produce a new mixture. Often, the objective is to determine the ratio of each component needed to produce a particular outcome.

Alligation: Finding the average value of the ratios of the quantities mixed is a strategy used to solve mixture problems. It entails a graphical representation of quantities and determining the weights or ratios of each item.
