Page Title and Meta Description

About Title:

Another place to put your primary keywords is in the title of the page. Just simply put them on the page.

If someone searches for any of these terms "popular exams, SSC, CGL" search engines will know it's related to "queryburn" website

and will list the "queryburn" Website.

Points to Keep in Mind:

  • Your title should be a short and descriptive overview of each page on your site.
  • You should have dedicated pages dedicated pages for each section.
  •  The title for the home page should be a title for your entire site.
  • The title for the sub-pages in your site should be related to the topic and not universal for the entire site.
  • Having a keyword in your title has high importance and you should put related keywords in every page's title.
  • The title is under 65 characters so it's completed on the search page and doesn't get cut off.
  • Don't throw random keywords in your title.

Meta description.

Below the title, a paragraph is called the meta description This is the text that goes in the Meta tag 

If you don't set them at a description Google will automatically take the first few lines of text from your website and make it your meta description.

Keep the Meta description less than 160 characters for the same reason as the title.

There are keywords I searched for and since these are highlighted it means that the search engines read the meta description and they found it's related to our search query and highlighted the keywords.
